2 Corinthians 7:4

I have great pride in you I am filled with comfort in all our affliction I am overflowing with joy. 

Paul is speaking to the Corinthians in this section about unequal yokes. The Corinthians for some time have gone away from what Paul had written to them. Paul is now expressing joy because now the Corinthians are siding with Paul renouncing the false teachings. The Corinthians now are coming back to Christ because they have been away in sin neglecting what Pauls first letter was to be. This sounds like a lot like the people living in America and their faith in Christ. Many know of him and his word but not all follow and have a Christian walk with him. They live in self and sinful filled lives. Kind of like the Corinthians lived. Becoming born again seems a lot like the Corinthians paradigm shift from not fulfilling the commandments to then being born again. Paul continues to talk with the Corinthians and Titus completely repenting to Christ following Paul’s words and the gospel. As a follower of Christ I look to share his word to nonbelievers and grow believers. Kind of like Paul did in his second journey. I share because I want people a know who the lord is and what his scriptures say and what we should do to live a Christ like life by the commandments given.
