2 Corinthians 5:1

2 Corinthians 5:1 

For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed we have a building from God. A house not made with hands eternal in the heavens.

The tent is our earthly home is a depiction of our earthly bodies that will eventually die. The word (have) refers to the future resurrection bring us back to our father in the heavens. The eternal heavens is for the resurrected spirit of the believer of Christ that we will receive in the last days. As we grow in our Christian faith sharing Gods Word we will face prosecution to our faith and our belief. The lord has told us that we will face trials and hardships as Christians. But we will be the lucky ones who persevere through. We will be given our eternal home in heaven with the lord. The devil will work against us as we draw ourselves closer to the lord. Trying to destroy us eternally and physically. I have experienced many trials in life. Some of my own doing and some from events in life. As a born again Christian I come to the lord in prayer and look for scriptures to ease the suffering. I know that the lord will see me through as I hold faith firm. This is something we as Christians must do when we are being destroyed and taken by the enemy. Come to the lord in our faith and fellowship with like minded Christians. Our relationship with the lord is how we grow and come closer to the lord. And when the end time comes we will follow our lord to heaven.
