Matthew 8:9-10 find what is the challenge the
9 For too I am a man under authority, with soldiers under me . and I say to one,
"Go" and he goes, and to another, "come" and he comes, and to my servant Do this and he does it. 10 when Jesus heard this he marveled and said to those who followed him, truly i tell you with no one in Israel have i found such faith.
We are living in a world where the new generations have lost the authority to follow direction and understanding on all levels family members, business owners, Government officials. let alone the authority from Christ the laws governed in the bible. with the growth of technology has further separated us from the real world further changing how we live our lives. just look at our parents generation and how they lived on morals and ethics with the understanding of authority. we as american have implemented into our culture that we must follow the authority and of the rights of ever individual. we also have fallen away from that God has lead us to know in Romans 13:1 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. for there is no authority except from God and those that exist have been instituted by God. therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what god has appointed and those who resist will incur judgement. we all must remember this for god has anointed us with gifts beyond our imaginations but we must first come to him and submit that he has authority over us and we must follow his law over anything else. when i read that Jesus hasn't found anyone faithful as he in the land of Israel. i questioned why that was and how could this be. Jesus was the kingship over Israel and his fulfillment of the promise made to aberham to. all nations but first must understand and surrender to his authority. "I have followed authority for the most I am not a person who questions to many thing because I am not one for causing havoc or wanting a negative consequence come about. as i grow older i notice there are stricter rules and authority in everyday life that we must understand and live by. as a servant of the lord i yurn to help help young and old, but in order to do this authority is a standard i must follow to be a proper follower listener and disciple.
