then Hebrews 11:6
and without faith it is impossible to please him for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
For many years I have been Luke warm in my faith going to church and going through the motions. asking through prayer when times fall short. Faith of the unknown is fear in the eyes, the heart, and mind of the stumbling believer . for some this maybe fear of religion or fear of commitment. for one to gain faith one must put his pride, self worth and become vulnerable to the unknown. believing in faith that our lord god almighty has our planet in action before us. As seen with Noah and the ark Noah received signs from God he was a righteous man blameless in his generations, as Noah walked with the lord he held his faith even when it was tested by the Nephilim. because of his faithfulness Noah became the heir of righteousness that came by faith. this is a faithful moment of mine. For the past 20years i have known god but have not been a follower it wasn't until i walked away form in the city and spent the next year working for my brother pat on his condos. one occasion i was talking with pat and he looked at me and said you have no faith. i told him I was and then unbeknownst to me I didn't. Pat said you have faith in your work you do but you have no faith with god. this conversation sparked what began my journey as a believer in Christ. Fast forward another year while searching for new job. I prayed that the lord would say me a news of a career change wanting to be in the city where the world was working at a different pace. my good friend Nate told me about a job he thought i would be strong at.I told him that i would wait until the next Tuesday if something didnt come up then i would look in to it. After waiting and waiting praying and praying the following Tuesday rolled around. at 10am I said ok lord today is the day my faith is with you. I reached out to the business and with in an hour I had setup and interview for the following day. as i drove to the interview for the first time i knew that i was going to have a job before even getting there. and that was because i have faith in gods plan faith in myself and I kept honest with myself. Jer 29.11 For I know the plan i have for you declare the lord plans for welfare and not evil. to give you a future and hope.
I plan on saying through pray that the lord is my savior and through faith writing a new scripture each day in my journal until i have the bible completed not loose sight of this. to me i didn't.
